Stay in a peaceful area within walking distance of a lovely traditional local village, which can be seen across the valley at the foot of the spectacular mountain backdrop.
Almeria is Spain’s sunniest region and one of the least visited. Its proximity to North Africa means that the area is semi-desert, dry and dramatic, with imposing mountains and dazzling sea. The venue is on the edge of one of Europe’s most remote and beautiful natural parks, the Cabo de Gata, one of the last unspoiled stretches of Spanish coastline. It’s a wonderful wild coastline, which you will have seen more times than you think as the backdrop in many films including Indiana Jones, Lawrence of Arabia, and Sergio Leone’s famous spaghetti westerns.
It is only half an hour from Almeria airport, served by Easyjet, Monarch and Ryanair.
Twice daily yoga sessions. Massage and other treatments are available. The sea and beaches are within 20 minutes drive. The local village is walking distance, and walks can be enjoyed in the surrounding hills.

The main house sits in the semi-desert landscape amid lush gardens, its architecture echoing ancient Mediterranean civilizations. The main house has two double en-suites, three twin en-suites and one twin with bathroom nearby. (Accommodates 10 – 12)
Its striking natural swimming pool is fed by spring water and filtered by reed beds.
The outlying cortijo or farm has been converted in the original local style into charming accommodation, located a couple of hundred yards from the main house. The cortijo apartments have their own sitting room/kitchens with 5 twin en-suite bedrooms, one double en-suite and one single en-suite. (Accommodates 10 – 12)
The cortijo has its own swimming pool and a covered outdoor yoga space for twenty.
Both swimming pools are ‘eco-pools’ the pool water is continually filtered through reed and water-plant beds, and is crystal clear. The pool at the cortijos is part of the large garden irrigation system, so it is constructed as a ‘proper pool’ but water flows continuously in and out to irrigate the 30 acres of organic planting. Both pools are minimally treated to ensure cleanliness without harming the delicate eco-system. It makes for a lovely swimming experience.
Food: Providing home-cooked, lovingly prepared vegetarian Spanish/Mediterranean dishes. Vegan food can be provided.
Generally adults only, but sometimes teachers are happy to have children stay. Please enquire.

"Such a wonderful week in the finca, with the house providing a comfortable grandness together with a homely vibe, hard to come by in a yoga venue, making it somewhere very special.
The easy space and flow of the grounds and yoga shala lends itself to relaxation and well-being. The natural pool has the softest of water and the food is excellent.

While Jane’s care and attention to details allows the perfect holding for teachers to attend to deep practice and the sharing of yoga with a group and for all to feel extremely well looked after
