Sunflower Retreat's peaceful jungle lodge is set in beautiful flowering gardens within a 90-hectare private reserve next to Cabo Blanco National Park on the pacific coast Nicoya Peninsula with its wonderful beaches. This oasis has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and hammocks to relax in, and free wi-fi all around the property.

Located in Malpais Nicoya Peninsula, in Costa Rica. In a jungle garden oasis in the hills of Mal Pais on the pacific coast next to the Cabo Blanco nature reserve, the oldest reserve in Costa Rica, close to Montezuma, and San Teresa.
The nearest international airport is San Jose with direct flights from London Gatwick, and the nearest local airport is Tambor.
Five 90-minute morning yoga classes (Friday through Tuesday) per six-night holiday, plus three afternoon yoga and meditation classes.
You can relax in the jacuzzi and swim in pool. There's also a wide range of Ayurvedic and holistic treatments for the mind, body and soul as well as energy balancing, optional activities such as horse riding, paddle boarding, surfing, Spanish lessons, visits to nature reserves and butterfly farms.

Price: From US$1200 (approx £890) pp for a six-night stay; single room from US$1600 (approx £1188 ).
Prices include ensuite bedroom, breakfast each day, three buffet lunches and three dinners, unlimited use of Wi-Fi; plus yoga and meditation classes.
Not included are flights, transfers to and from the lodge in Mal Pais, nor transport to local restaurants, any extra optional activities and tours. Holistic treatments are available for extra fee.
You can also book a 13-night holiday, at a saving over the price of two six-night holidays. Four-night stays are also offered, please enquire.

All bedrooms are spacious and clean with ensuite private bathrooms, ceiling fans and mini fridges.
Food: Locally sourced delicious vegetarian cuisine, prepared daily with fresh herbs and juices, and some local fish. They also cater for special dietary requests.
Families and children are welcome, although babysitting services are not provided.

"A true oasis of nature and tropical gardens , Lucy our yoga teacher led us in traditional yoga postures and flows, on the covered jungle shala platform, with the birdsong and howler monkeys talking to each other and hummingbirds flitting about.
